Ingredients

At PIHU, we work with a short list of time-honoured botanicals — saffron, sandalwood, rose, aloe, sesame and a few supporting herbs. Each one has a place in the ritual. We do not crowd the formula to make the label look busy.
Formulas are built around traditional botanicals. No unnecessary fragrance load. For external use only.

Saffron

Used in Kumkumadi Elixir and Saffron Luminous Nectar.
A classical complexion botanical. In PIHU it sits in the night oil and in the daily gel — for glow and a more even-looking skin tone with consistent use.

Sandalwood

Used in Kumkumadi Elixir.
Cooling, grounding, and part of the traditional kumkumadi preparation. It supports the oil’s calm, night-time character.

Rose

Used in Rose Dew Elixir.
Distilled rose water. The first step of the ritual — a mist to cool and settle the face after heat, travel or cleansing.

Aloe vera

Used in Saffron Luminous Nectar.
Gives the gel its water-light, cooling texture. Used when skin feels tight, warm or tired.

Sesame oil

Used in Kumkumadi Elixir and De-Stress Body Nectar.
Cold-pressed sesame is the carrier in both oils. It helps the botanicals spread in a thin film and stay on the skin.

Manjistha

Used in Kumkumadi Elixir and De-Stress Body Nectar.
Indian madder. A traditional skin herb in both the face oil and the body nectar.
